It’s not working

This butter keeper does not keep butter soft or spreadable as it claims to do so.
Waste of money. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size for just the 2 of us.

I'm on the fence on this one

While the butter keeper does keep butter soft and spreadable as it claims, and I did remember to change the water daily I noticed a black mold forming on the bottom edge of the part that sits in the water. That particular spot on the rim isn't a smooth finished porcelain like the rest of the body which leads me to conclude its trapping bacteria after being cleaned, or I'm doing something wrong all together while maintaining it.
